100% natural petrified wood fossil with well preserved Bark that has been cut into a log! Perfect to use as an ornament on your desk. Super cool gift for dad or boys of all ages, girls too.
Each piece has been highly polished and was found in western Madagascar. Petrified wood is a crystal rock that was a branch of a living tree during the Late Triassic era (before Jurassic), 252 to 201 million years ago. Buried under volcanic ash, the wood transformed over millions of years, enriched with silica minerals and trace elements, resulting in stunning colours. This transformation and journey over time is a symbol of patience. Spiritually believed to help the beholder have more patience and be more tolerant, due to the physical ageing process of the wood transforming into stone. It’s spiritually believed to help the beholder in past life recall, giving insight into past life’s struggles to help to bring forward these memories in order to help with healing.
Approx 7-9cm tall, 5-6cm wide. 500-700g.
