The historical Black Cat Fortune Telling game was first published in 1897 at Salem Mass. The game includes 24 cards used to “foretell” the: Future, Present, Past, Danger, General Advice and Love Matters. Instruction sheet is included. This version is a remake of the Parker Brothers Black Cat Fortune Telling game from the 1950s.
The front of each card shows one of six black cat illustrations, while the back of each card is printed with unique lines of text. When the cards are shuffled, and selected cards layered in order, the segments of text combine to tell the persons fortune.
The Black Cat Fortune Telling game is different from other types of fortune telling cards. Several people can play as a group, with players reading each other's fortunes. There is no declared winner or loser, just loads of fun for all.
